Kansai 2018

It's already the last week of September 😂

I'm so sorry that I couldn't update my blog any sooner TwT
I'm having problem with my house internet so yea TwT
as a result my blog post is delayed by a month ðŸ˜‚😂
as in literally a month------

Last week already but it's September, one of my favorite months? XD
I wanted to be more active this month but all I manage to update are new episode of Putar-Putar with VIVID GIRL (which is also the last episode) and I'm currently doing an FS event in both FB and IG!
Other than the two, nothing much to update because I'm out of content too TwT
So here's another one, blog update from my trip back in August~!

Last week of August, I went to visit Kansai, back in Japan X)
The last time I went to Kansai was in December, for Osaka and Kobe.
This time, I went to Osaka, Kyoto and a new place for me, Wakayama~!

The trip wasn't so smooth at start 😂

When my family and I scheduled the trip, we thought of getting morning flight ticket.
In other words: Medan -> reach Sg @ 10/11 -> ride 1pm plane from Sg to Kansai International Airport -> reach KIX at 9 or 10 pm -> stay at airport's hotel for the night, as we planned to go to Wakayama by airport bus the next morning.
Butttttt our '1pm plane' was delayed by 10 hours ðŸ˜‚

When we checked in our baggages in Medan, we received two boarding passes;
one for Medan -> Sg and another for Sg -> Kansai
My mum, as careful as ever, checked the Sg -> Kansai boarding pass and it wrote 'boarding 10pm'
At first, she was like 'is SilkAir crazy? We reach Sg by 10 and the boarding time is 10!?'
I checked again and noticed the PM sign.
I asked the staff in Medan's airport and he only told me, 'yes there's delay. there's no reason written, please check when you reach Singapore,'
Okay.. =_= but we weren't really in panic cause we do believe in SilkAir

So we reached Singapore, to be welcomed with staffs who are guiding some passengers to certain 'corner'.
The passengers called are those who were heading to Taiwan and Osaka.
My mum thought we were called cause we were to run for the flight but apparently we were given delayed flight compensation slip (in the photo above).
As the delay was 10 hours, SilkAir prepared a hotel room, lunch, dinner and transportation from and to the hotel~

Apparently, our flight was delayed due to typhoon.
When I messaged my friend in Wakayama, then I knew that there was typhoon going on .-.
Thus, an impromptu Singapore visit XD

I already ate Japanese food even before I reach Japan 😂
and I went to Orchard ;)

The lunch and dinner provided were buffet in the hotel~ I had sashimi and satay ðŸ˜‚

That day I walkeddddd a lot
The hotel was at Farrer Park
I YOLO-ed and walked all the way to Somerset ðŸ˜‚

I met Jerry for dinner XD super quick catch up since.. November!?

Somerset -> walked to DhobyGhaut -> took train to ChinaTown -> had dinner with Jerry, tendon (another Japanese food ðŸ˜‚) -> walked to Raffles MRT for train to the airport~

OKAY I super love Japanese food in Singapore that sometime I do feel confused when people ask me what local food do I like ðŸ˜‚

Come to think of it, when my mum and I were discussing about flight ticket to Osaka..
I did suggest 'why not take night flight, so in the morning we reach KIX -> right away bus ride to Wakayama' to safe hotel fee
But my mum preferred getting a night sleep in Kansai airport's hotel..
But at the end of the day, we don't know what nature have for us ðŸ˜‚

The short visit to Singapore did feel good though~
I can never get bored of Singapore to start with XD
I'm sure I've took these photos before but I got to see the sceneries that I love <3

One of my favorite places, Clarke Quay
Boat Quay~
Raffles~

AND I REACHED AT LAST 😂
breakfast was Mr Donut :B

I love doughnut more than cake :B
and Mr Donut is definitely one joint that I love :B

2-way bus ride ticket from Kansai International Airport to Wakayama
and it was raining when I reached Wakayama TwT

The ride from KIX to Wakayama was around 40mins.
When I reached, it was still considered as the 'typhoon weather' as it can rain for 5 mins, back to sunny and back to rain again.
The weather was like a girl's heart; keeps on changing /slapped

View from my lodging

I stayed near the river. It was a quiet neighbourhood~

First proper meal was hamburg set :B

This is a set that's famous among kids (?)

AAAAAnimate my love 😂

Reached Wakayama at 10 -> reached lodging at 11
My lodging is actually less than 1/2 hr from Wakayama station but it was tougher due to rain.
As we had 3 big bags, we had to use 2 taxi
What luggage bag to bring is actually one of the biggest question when going to Japan because taxi isn't so big but at the same time, need lots of space for shopping ðŸ˜‚

Reached lodging -> shower-dress up -> came out from lodging around 1pm -> had lunch..
Still pretty fatigued from the long flight, we decided to relax more that day.
So we went to Wakayama station, which is more 'city' comparing to our lodging's area.
And that's where Animate is ðŸ˜‚
I mentioned this in my Twitter but one day, I think my dream is to visit every single Animate in Japan ðŸ˜‚
and may be come up with 'Fujoshi Japan shopping trip' itinerary ðŸ˜‚

Found cute chopstick /w/
and I had Mr Donut again as snack 😂

My mum is in love with Mr Donut's lemon tea ðŸ˜‚

The day I really felt like a tourist in Wakayama was on the second day.
My first stop was Marina City~!

Marina City has a lot of attractions and one of it is Fish Market~!

I'm sorry I forgot to adjust my camera's brightness TwT

The highlights in Marina City's fish market is Tuna slicing show~

Slice Slice~ while explaining what parts~

I did take short videos, which I'll upload in my Instagram while promoting this post XD

The place with better lighting 😂

Marina City has this area that's kinda like Huis Ten Bosch too~!

Opposite of the fish market

There's actually an amusement park~

But I didn't go cause my parent not interested duh 😂

Beside the fish market is BBQ area

The fish market did sell both ready-to-eat and raw food.
For lunch, we bought raw fish and etc, which then we ate in the picture above, by doing BBQ~!

Marina City is around 20 mins from where I stayed
The river that can be seen in my photo leads to where Marina City~

Marina City's sea view

There were also yatches~

The below are photos taken by Mr Takase :D

My mum and I

During BBQ

My fighting pose for good photo (?)

Once again, thank you Mr Takase for his hospitality~! >w<

We also went to alcohol brewery factory; NakanoBC

MY LOVE UMESHUUUU

One of the famous product from Wakayama is my love Umeshuu, AKA Plum Wine, reason being Wakayama produces really good plum~!

NakanoBC has Japanese Garden as one of the attractions for the visitor

Due to typhoon from the few days before my visit, we weren't allowed to go outside, as in to the garden.
When the view from inside is already this good, I think it'll be amazing outside /w/

I saw tanuki :B

Commemoration photo~!

The only proper photo I have from this trip 😂thank you so much Takase-san~!

Because I was only with my parent, I have almost no full body photo of myself from this trip ðŸ˜‚
It's not that I can't do selfie but I just don't think a selfie will do enough justice for nice sceneries ðŸ˜‚
But come to think of it, next time I shall bring fish-eye lens ðŸ˜‚

NakanoBC comes up with a lottttt of brands

I'm super thankful to the staff in NakanoBC too~! We all received not only hospitality but also complimentary alcohol! Thank you so much <3

Can see the top of Wakayama castle~!

Before dinner, I went to a shopping district near Wakayama-shi :D

There were a lot of second-hand stuff store in Wakayama~
This one specialises in game~

Persona~
The photo at the left is a store that specialises in cat /w/

The first floor is stuff with cat design~
The second floor is a cat cafe >w<

At night, we received a really extravagant welcome dinner~

The appetiser has Wakayama castle :B

The main course was sukiyaki~
Me with Toki-san, owner of the restaurant

The sukiyaki uses cotton candy instead of sugar to make the soup sweet X)
That day was one of the days where I felt super full XD

Once again, thank you Takase-san, Yamashita-san and Toki-san for the treat~! <3

Feels like in manga or anime world /w/

The third day in Wakayama, I rode local train~!
The photo above is at Kimiidera station.

It was my first time in an open air station? A view that's different with Tokyo~!
Wakayama is definitely not as crowded as Tokyo or Osaka, so it was a different taste of Japan. The 'local' feel is strong~!

One of the biggest shock I experienced there as....THE TRAIN IS SCHEDULED
In Tokyo, because I'm used to Shibuya-Ikebukuro-Akiba and surrounding, it's always crowded = train always come in less than 5 minutes
But it was different in Kimiidera. Like only 2-3 train per hour.
Please don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining.
Instead, it was exciting like I said, as if I was in a manga or anime XD

Afternoon snack~!

Royal Milk Tea.... exclusive? version of teh tarik? 😂

I went to Wakayama castle

Walked around 20-30 mins from Wakayama station~

Since it was in the middle of the city, there were new buildings around~

Longgg walk inside because castle is definitely big :B

and what caught me was cat :B

Lots of stairsssss and at last reached the entrance of the main castle~!

I reached around 5.30? It was closed already 😂
So I really only enjoyed the castle's outer side 😂

Just nice, slightly before sunset X)

Commemoration selfie~ and interesting vending machine :B

Video in my Instagram stories' highlight and in my Twitter XD
It's a vending machine that talks when you purchase something, in Wakayama's dialect :D

Went to onsen at night at Wakayama-shi

That was my last day in Wakayama
I didn't get to enjoy the beautiful nature of Wakayama because I didn't have enough time but the visit truly made me want to go back again >w<
There are lots more to Wakayama such as beautiful beach, mountain, natural onsen (I only went to the one in the city 😂). Food is very delicious and healthy as the prefecture is really naturally blessed~!
So I'LL BE BACKKKKK >w>

Last photo from Wakayama~!

And I went off to Osaka~

OK random CM 😂

Japan, the place where I find most CLEAR stuff 😂

CLEAR COKE
It says 0kcal but I feel that it's sweeter than normal cola...or may be I'm just weird O_O
I honestly find cokezero sweeter than normal coke O_O
But I don't drink coke much to start with O_O
And I feel that the CLEAR COKE had more gas
Well, it was nothing but just for my curiousity XD

The second photo is grape yogurina~
I prefer the normal yogurina XD because I'm also not a fan of grape OwO

View from my lodging

At Osaka, I stayed at Ebisu-cho~
My lodging was super convenient as the supermarket and train station is in less than 3 mins walk~
And I get to see random (ok I just don't know the name) tower~
Opposite my apartment is one of my fave joint, Osaka Ohsho <3
The surrounding is pretty lively as the path toward the tower is filled with cafe~!

CATSSS from one of the cafes :D

Fruit juice and parfait cafe :D

When I reached Osaka after bus ride from Wakayama (via Kansai International Airport), I right away went to my lodging and reached around 2pm.
That day, I walked from Ebisu-cho to Tennoji.
One reason is to exercise. The other reason is, even though it's 20 mins by walk, it takes pretty much the same time if I use train.
I'm not an avid fan of Osaka's train line 😂

Passed by this restaurant that reminds me of Rokuhoudou Yotsuiro Biyori~
Passed by a number of temples too~!

Just by the outside look, the restaurant is expensive.
AND IT IS by seeing the menu 😂

From Ebisu-cho to Tennoji, I passed by a local zoo but didn't take photo cause there was construction going on 😂

OK THE REASON I CHOSE TENNOJI IS ANIMATE
AND LASHINBANGGGGG

Another new Animate visited XD

As expected of V (?)

Another reason why I don't post much photo from this trip is my selfies are like this 😂

BNHA showcase at Animate~

I don't know whether photo is allowed or not but I just took in a hurry as I'm scared that it isn't allowed 😂
somehow traumatised /slapped

Tennoji is filled with malls~

Visited a nostalgic corner at one of the music stores

Nostalgic corner as in Visual Kei corner, as ex-VKei fan XD
Saw two stuff related to SuG; Takeru's solo work and NANA, Chiyu's band~
On my personal side, a year has passed since I watched SuG's show for the first and last time TwT
and more than a year has passed since I entered Seiyuu helllll
and I can't get out already 😂

Ebisucho at night~
and OSAKA OHSHO-------

I guess Osaka Ohsho is one of the reasons why people say Kansai's food is nicer than Tokyo's 😂
Well, Osaka Ohsho is just my favorite from Singapore and of course, IT IS AT LEAST 5X BETTER AT THE HOMETOWN-------

Very high calory though 😂5gyoza, fried rice and ramen----
At least (?) it's shoyu ramen, not miso (?) it's more 'clear' 😂
But even as I'm writing this blog, the greatness of Osaka Ohsho in Osaka still linger in my heart 😂

For my trip this time, I still have 2 more blog posts
Followed with ASUS store opening event in Medan -> family trip to Bali -> not much happening in September 😂
I hope I can come up with more content in October >( I'll do my best------
