This whole post will be about LiJiang because I took a lot of photos in this lovely town too!
May be not much to write though, because it's back to mountain-greenery-water π
Saw this store on our way back to our bus!!!!! D:

Okay, most probably my cousin's husbando (Ace) but still, this is a store that I'm interested in but didn't have the chance to enter TwT
Anyway, it's LiJiang's ancient town -> dinner place
Our dinner's place is designed to be like a local house
Errr I think my English failed me HAHA
Our dinner that day was to taste local food and local culture, thus the house design is traditional style
The big area is kinda like a folk-dance area?
If we wanted to, some of the restaurant's staff would dance and we can join
Since there isn't any clip of me nor locals dancing in my vlog, that means we didn't request -> retire to hotel earlier π
One thing I remembered during the dinner is tasting local liquor
Whenever we have meal in restaurant, we were provided with a big bottle of Coke and 2 bottles of local beer, already included in our bill
That day, we asked about local alcohol, something like Sake or Soju
We thought of ordering, but decided not to when our guide said that local liquor has 40-50% alcohol.
Our guide brought a small bottle for us to try, and just a small sip burnt my heart π
I didn't feel like dying at Shangri-la when I had hard time breathing but the alcohol's burnt made me dieded a bit πthere goes an unforgettable happening π

and happened to watch Japan's match against Colombia XD
Okie I'm not a soccer enthusiast but I do keep up with Japan's matches because of my cousin.
Okay, to be exact my fave seiyuus that I follow in twitter π
That day I happened to be transferring a lot of data from my phone to my laptop, so I would look at the TV now and then while waiting.
It's very late but otsukare Japan~!
5 PILLOWS!!
I'm the type who need at least 2 pillows to sleep and fully satisfied with 4 pillows, so 5 pillows is like heaven to me π
no matter how nice or fun my day has been, at the end of the day, bed is important π
But that's not the point-----
My cousin and I are so blissful to receive one of the 2 villas, which our tour group got, instead of normal hotel room.
For 2 nights, we spent extra comfortable time at LiJiang's Sofitel

Ok, it was my first time staying in villa so it's a total mountain turtle experience for me π
I woke up earlier to take video + spammed my phone gallery π
How did we get the villa instead of normal hotel room?
It's because we are single πtotally one of the sweetest moment of being single π
The rest who didn't get the villa requested for 'king size bed' while my cousin and I (and another villa is for my aunty and her son), we requested for double twin bed
I think the hotel didn't have any empty rooms with single-bed for the 2 nights, so they prepared us these instead

we had 2 TVs
But of course we only utilised the one in the bedroom π
Got tea room!!
More like working room? but got sofa again so I call it tea room π
The special things for me were:
- There was yoga mat in the toilet!!! Though I didn't use it π
- The bath tub in the toilet can fit 2-3 people-----
- Outdoor hot tub!! Didn't use it too cause we need to request the staff to prepare it 4hrs before we wanna use it
Hehe such a luxury indeed π
Second day in LiJiang, with 500years ago Goku!!
Okay can't see much different with the current Goku based on how I held it but the costume got different :B

Okay didn't hike, but it's back to mountainous region~
We went to Dragon Jade Snow Mountain
LiJiang is lower than Shangri-La but still considered as high altitude, though it's not hard to breath anymore.
May be also because we survived Shangri-La, so it wasn't much a big deal anymore π

My cousin and I (okay, actually it's me, who started it as well π) have the tendency to take a lot of photos from before the model pose until the photo taking is over.
In other words, phone gallery will be spammed with a lot of photos from far from the subject to nearby the subject.

We then went for lunch, followed with watching a show called Impression LiJiang
Entrance to the show area
The show's director, Zhang Yimou is famous for his works like part of Beijing's Olympic and other Impression shows at other parts of China.
I think I've seen his other show before but ages ago, so I have no recollection at all =w=
The show was completely outdoor
I think before the show started, the actors made salutation to the sky as a prayer for it not to rain?
It was completely sunny for there were light shower during the show, but there were also time when the sun was so bright.
In other words, during the 1 hr show, we experienced both sunshine and little rain XD
The show was showing the 13 minorities that stay in LiJiang

There were people riding horse, ladies singing (real LOUD naturally), got drinking alcohol culture, it was a colorful show!
Really big team~!
I like that the show is not just about dancing or colorful light or water, so in a way it's really utilising the actors' power.
Of course I didn't understand every single happening though there were English translation kind of screen at the sides but it's not effective in my opinion π
Nevertheless, it was still enjoyable~
Last stop in LiJiang; daily dose of garden π
I don't remember the name of the place but it's another water resource
I was already pretty bored of garden, so I didn't take much photo π

One of the minorities who stay in LiJiang, Naxi, do pray to nature.
The golden statue at the photo is one of the gods that they pray to, if not mistaken for water, as the garden is a water source. There's a pagoda and some traditional houses inside the garden.

Back to hotel for the last night
There's also a small pagoda like building in our hotel, slightly behind if you zoom into the photo
The photo is in front of the hotel's lobby, and our breakfast area is in the building at the right
7.30pm and still so bright /w/
There's map around the hotel + bicycle for rent~
The hotel was really niceeeeee XD a plus point to my LiJiang's visit XD
As I said before, I'd prefer LiJiang over to Shangri-La to reside at because it's not as traditional + I like the ancient town in LiJiang best among the others at YuNan that I've visited~
But I can see myself returning to Shangri-La more than LiJiang, because I'd really visit Shangri-La for zen instead of LiJiang π
But both places are worth going, for the calm and peace in Shangri-La and beautiful view in LiJiang~!
LiJiang was our last stop, as we took flight back to KunMing,
1 day before my last day in China~
Wanted to take photo with 'WELCOME TO YUNNAN' with Gojyo during DAY1 but couldn't, due to the bus parking position XD
Had early flight, so no makeup but I'm always thankful to SNOW π
AND IT WAS ONE OF THE DAYS where I didn't wear UT π
Simply because I scare cold in the plane XD
My next post will definitely be the last post regarding China + what happened until the last 2 weeks of July.
I'll be writing about July in August, the usual 'one month delay' but I'll be writing my first experience at Penang Anime Matsuri!
I'm counting down to a lot of things!!
